Even from the beginning of the activity, our printing shop has been operating its own Prepress department that uses a Scitex network and high performance PCs and McIntosh computers.
The information technology department is renewed every year by purchasing the latest in the filed (computers and printers).

The rotating scanner can scan opaque plates or slides on an area of maximum 50 x 60 cm.
The scanner resolution is 3000 dpi, which means that a scanned image at 300 dpi may be magnified 10 times. Color correction is made directly from the scanner and this allows a high processing speed.

The output system consists of two imagestters: one Dainnipon Screen and one Dolev 800 where the maximum imaging area is 1117 x 812.
Maximum printing resolution is from 200 dpi to 3556 dpi.

The processing of scanned images may be made on a Scitex PrisMatic workstation specially designed for image processing. The images may also be processed by the client using a MacIntosh or IBM compatible PC.

Master Print Super Offset can offer three types of proofing.
The digital proofing on IrisRealist is unique in Romania and it offers a high fidelity image of what the printed work will look like. The advantage offered by the IrisRealist printer is that it does not require film, as the chromalin technology.

The following types of magnetic media for the transfer of files: Syquest (44M, 88M, 200M, 105M, 270M), optical disc (128M, 230M, 600M, 1.2G), writing CD or ZIP (only for PC). Optionally, any SCSI device may be connected to PCs and MacIntosh computers.

The DuPont Cromalin machine or andruck also offers a good quality proof.
The format for Iris is 50 x 70 cm, and for cromalin and andruck 70 x 100 cm. |
